Felt & Silk

Meditative, abstract embroidery on felt surfaces with various silk threads. Silk and wool are an amazing combination of natural materials, and the tactile experience of stitching on felt is wonderfully relaxing. We'll hand embroider a small, abstract coaster or brooch with simple stitches. No previous embroidery experience necessary, beginners are as welcome as advanced hand stitchers. This class will be paired with Japanese hojicha, a low caffein and roasted green tea. All materials will be provided.
