About the event

Workshopgebühr: 85,00 €

In this workshop, Anja will show you how to sew a flower-shaped fabric pouch entirely by hand. Thanks to its clever construction, the pouch is surprisingly simple to create, making it a lovely project even if you have only basic hand-sewing skills.

The shape is inspired by the blossom of the kaki, or persimmon tree. When folded closed, the flower gathers softly around its contents, creating a small, beautiful bundle for the things you want to keep close.

The pouch is just the right size for storing and carrying small tea utensils, such as a few teacups, or a small gaiwan and a little tea. It can, of course, also be used for any other small object that deserve a special place.
